Reverend Natalie Quince

The Reverend Ivan Ransom

Non-stipendiary Assistant Priest.

Ivan came out of the Data-Processing industry to be ordained in 1970.

A graduate of Moore Theological College, Sydney, he has served in Inverell, Boggabilla, Tingha, Taree, Queanbeyan, Maclean, Moruya/Bateman's Bay, and Balmain (for 21 years) whence he retired in 2011 with his wife, Joan.

He is a direct descendant of Lieutenant William Wynter, R.N., who received the original land grant of Taree.

His particular interests are Social Justice, Citizen Journalism and Local History. He is an activist, a Grand Chaplain of the Mark and Royal Arch Freemasons of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and a regular presenter on Community Radio 2BOB with a particular interest in Classical Music.

 

Fr Bill Green

Father Bill was ordained at Christ Church Cathedral as a deacon February 2009 and priested in November 2009 after completing the Bishop’s Certificate and Diploma through Newcastle School of Theology for Ministry and Education for Ministry (EFM).

Served as a non-stipendiary Priest in Wingham, 2 years, Forster-Tuncurry, 6 years and now at Taree Parish.

Fr Bill has lived most of his life in the Manning and Great Lakes area working in the Newspaper industry as a Tradesman, Advertising Rep, Editor and Manager for 50 years in Wingham, Sydney, Taree and Forster.

20 years as a Scout Leader, on school P&C’s, Chaplain at Manning Rural Referral Hospital, Taree RSL Sub-Branch, National Servicemen’s Association and  many church organisations.

Fr Bill is married to Jill and have 3 children, 2 sons, a daughter and 9 grandchildren.
